Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026 | Version 1.0
JobsApply is committed to making our Service accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA published by the W3C. This statement describes the accessibility status of the Service, how we maintain it, and how you can reach us if you encounter a barrier.
1. Conformance status
The Service is designed with accessibility in mind. We have not yet completed a third-party WCAG 2.2 AA audit; we consider the Service partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Known gaps are tracked internally and addressed on an ongoing basis.
2. What we do
- Use semantic HTML and maintain a logical heading hierarchy.
- Ensure colour is not the only way information is conveyed.
- Provide keyboard navigation for interactive elements.
- Provide focus outlines on interactive elements.
- Label form fields and provide error messages that can be read by screen readers.
- Maintain sufficient contrast in light and dark modes.
- Support browser zoom and OS-level text scaling.
3. Known limitations
- Some third-party embedded components (for example Stripe Checkout and Stripe Customer Portal) are rendered by third parties. Their accessibility is controlled by Stripe.
- Some data tables do not yet include complete ARIA roles. We are working to improve them.
- Some screenshots and images of external application forms do not yet include descriptive alternative text because the content is generated dynamically; where alt text is missing you can request a text summary by contacting us.
4. Feedback and help
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have a suggestion, please contact us and we will respond within 7 business days.
- Email: legal@jobsapply.app (subject: "Accessibility")
- Mail: [Business mailing address to be added], Ontario, Canada
5. Formal complaints
If we fail to respond satisfactorily, you may escalate to the relevant regulator in your jurisdiction, for example:
- Ontario (AODA): Accessibility Directorate of Ontario.
- Canada (Accessible Canada Act): Accessibility Commissioner.
- EU (European Accessibility Act): your national enforcement body for product accessibility.
- United States (ADA §508): the Department of Justice ADA complaint intake.
6. Assessment approach
We perform self-assessments using automated tooling (axe-core, Lighthouse) and manual keyboard / screen-reader testing. We plan to complete a third-party audit and publish a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT®) in a future release.
7. Changes
We will update this statement as we complete audits, close gaps, and adopt new standards.
